The Commerce High School Band Program is an award winning organization comprised of several ensembles including the marching band, symphonic band, JazzCatz jazz band, winterguard, percussion ensemble, indoor percussion ensemble, and flute choir. The band has enjoyed much success over the recent years including first in class placements and superior ratings in marching band, superior ratings for the symphonic band and jazz band at LGPE events, as well as great achievements in winterguard and indoor percussion. This past season our band was awarded the Grand Champion Marching Band in the 2024 Peach Bowl Marching Band Competition. Students in the band program have been placed in several honor bands including District Honor Band, District Jazz Band, Janfest at UGA, Young Harris Honor Band, and All State Jazz Band. Students at Commerce High School enjoy a well rounded music education with many avenues available for personal and musical growth while having the time of their lives making awesome memories!
